Omdat de patroonsdag, 23 april dit jaar op Paaszaterdag viel, zijn we een week eerder St. Jorisdag gaan vieren. Na een H. Mis in de kapel van Witven, werd er een uitgebreide koffietafel genuttigd in gildehuis Krabbendam. Gastheer en gildebroeder Jan-Chris had de koffietafel aangekleed met gerechten als: zult, balkenbrij, bloedworst, Peelham, worstenbroodje, aspergesoep en natuurlijk 'n borreltje brandewijn met candijsuiker.
