Om de twee jaar (even jaren) wordt er op de 4^e zaterdag van september geschoten om een nieuwe koning. Het schietterrein met schuilaccommodatie “Jorisveste” wat achter De Donck gelegen is, werd aangelegd in 1996.
Kermiszaterdag 2012 kwam het gilde in bezit van een relikwie van St. Joris.
St. Jorisdag, 20 april 2013, werd een nieuwe zilveren koningsvogel gepresenteerd. In september 2014 werd een Sint Joriskapel ingezegend welke gevestigd is in de Lambertuskerk. Er werd daarvoor een nieuw Sint Jorisbeeld aangekocht, dankzij een gift van de Stichting Kringloop ONA.
