[A]Her folks said our [G] lives together, [A]Sure was gonna be [G] rough. They [A] never did like Mama's [G] home-made dress, Papa's [D] bank book wasn't big enough. And [E] I was standing on the [F#m] side of the road, [A] Rain falling on my [D] shoes. [E] Heading out for the [F#m] old east coast, Lord [A] knows I've paid some [D] dues, Getting [E] through, [G]Tangled [D]up in [A]blue.
