Als er sprake is van een hechtingsprobleem dan is er bij het kind veel wantrouwen naar volwassenen en er is angst om gekwetst te worden. Het kind schrikt terug voor het praten over gevoelens, voor het maken van contact.
Ook kan het zijn dat het gedrag van het kind bij jou negatieve emoties oproept omdat het kind je kwetst of omdat je je, door wat hij zegt of doet, afgewezen voelt.
Probeer te voorkomen dat je het gedrag ervaart als tegen jou, als persoon, gericht maar zie het gedrag als voortkomend uit handhavingpatronen.
Plaats in de klas
Probeer bedreigende situaties te voorkomen of te verminderen, zodat het kind zich beter kan ontspannen en daardoor meer gewenst gedrag kan laten zien.
