Afscheid

.
Afscheid

Stille nacht

Stille nacht

Stille nacht, heilige nacht,
soldaten lopen eindeloos wacht,
achtervolgd door boze dromen.
Ik zou nog maar niet komen.

Stille nacht, heilige nacht,
de mensheid vreest, waarop zij wacht,
hunkerend naar vredige dromen.
Ik zou nog maar niet komen.

Vernietigd, door de laars geknecht,
Jezus, vele volkeren gaat het slecht,
zure regen doodt de bomen.
Ik zou nog maar niet komen

Velen zwelgen in overvloed,
hen gaat het veel te goed,
hebben daardoor angstige dromen
Ik zou nog maar niet komen.

Maar we hunkeren naar vrede, heer,
naar een sprankje liefde, keer op keer.
De hoop werd ons ontnomen.
Ik zou nu maar snel komen..

't Is zover

't Is zover

Blijf hier, dichtbij me.

Je ademhaling zegt me: "Nog even."
Dan is het onvermijdelijke daar.
Met jou vervliegt ook mijn leven.

Mongooltje

Mongooltje

Jouw stem, soms overslaand,
uit duizenden herken ik haar.
Uitbundige lach,
genietend van je spel,
waglende gang.
Je grote lieve ogen.

Aanhankelijk met je natte kus,
aaiend mijn gezicht; wat geef je ons
vreugde, we zijn blij met
jouw jool, mijn eigen kind,
mijn lieve, kleine mongool.

"Liefde is !"

Liefde is al helder water,
dat hart en geest overspoelt
en ons tot ongekende hoogten voert
en bij verlies volgt steeds de kater.

De liefde is als hemel's brood.,
dat hart en geest verzadigt
en ons tot ongekende daden begenadigt
en bij verlies volgt geestelijke dood.

Dwaze Moeders

je kinderen, man, of vriend.

geschonken.

Hou vol je stille strijd en protest,
verwijder het gezwel uit Artgentinië 's nest !
Laat in jouw land de zon weer stralen en vernietig
de laarzen, die het lot bepalen.
Geef Argentinië's kinderen weer nieuwe moed.
Mijn God, dwaze moeder hou vol, het komt weer goed !

Handen

Handen

mij warme veiligheid bood.

"Mens werk"gegrift in handen,

zij vielen nimmer stil.

Dream

Dream

I dreamed I was in heaven
and saw the days, all seven.
The seven days of every week,
the weeks of every year.
All years of my restless life,
I saw them clear, so clear.

I saw my faults, my ups and downs
and couldn’t change one hour;
but the lord, he smiled at me,
intensive, full of power.

His eyes were filled with love.
He gently called my name and I;
I could not say a word,
my heart was full of shame.

"Suicide ?"

In worstelend ontwaken, uit diepe duisternis,

ontwarend, van bloeddoorlopen ogen,

't schemerig licht en het pijnlijk wit,

dat overweldigt, overal is.

************

Het wit bedreigt, benauwt, paniek!

Het wekt hem weer tot leven, het

leven, dat hij niet verkiest,

zijn geest heeft het allang begeven.

************

De mallemolen, wéér in volle gang,

hij wil geen passagier meer wezen.

Het verdriet het knaagde reeds te lang,

de dood verlost, niets te vrezen.

*************

Weer is het niet gelukt,

wreed wil men hem behouden, of,
