Dwaze Moeders
Oh, dwaze moeder, wat doet het pijn jou daar te zien lijden op dat grote plein. Daar, waar het leven niet stil blijft staan, steeds kom je weer, ik ben met jouw lot begaan.
Je wanhoop,je stille verdriet, 't knaagt aan mij, of ik wil of niet. Mijn tanden knarsen, het lijf vol agressie, mijn God komt er dan nooit een eind aan de pressie, de tirannie, niemand ontziend, vernietigend je kinderen, man, of vriend.
Hoe bewonder ik jou en je lotgenoten, het waren niet jóúw kinderen, die bloed vergoten. Zíj namen het leven, van machtswellust dronken, namen het leven dat jij, dwaze moeder, je kind had geschonken.
Hou vol je stille strijd en protest, verwijder het gezwel uit Artgentinië 's nest ! Laat in jouw land de zon weer stralen en vernietig de laarzen, die het lot bepalen. Geef Argentinië's kinderen weer nieuwe moed. Mijn God, dwaze moeder hou vol, het komt weer goed !
